Sogno, which means “Dream” in Italian, is a restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine with a coastal flair.
It’s charming and cozy while having the warmth of eating in someone’s dining room.
Sogno brings the best of Italy to Saint Augustine and combines delicious dishes with local taste.
By blending our passion for food and focus on hospitality, we aim to cultivate a dining experience that creates a lasting impact and feels like a dream.
Meet The Team
Owner Brian Rinehart is a Saint Augustine local born and raised on the same Boulevard of A1A.
He moved to New York City at twenty-one and worked as a server in significant Manhattan restaurants for thirteen years. Additionally, he was a Wine and Liquor Rep in New Jersey for a colossal distributor, supplying and opening various restaurants for twenty years.
He worked at Tavern on the Green, which, at that time, was the highest-grossing restaurant in the United States and also catered to private celebrities.
After longing to move back to Saint Augustine, along with Stacy as his partner, Brian’s bringing his knowledge and passion for restaurant management, hospitality, and great food to his hometown.
BRIAN RINEHART, OWNER
Owner Stacy majored in Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.
She worked in the Fashion Industry, Interior Design, and Floral Design for ten years and then in the restaurant industry, specifically mixology, for ten years.
She successfully created floral designs for over a hundred events, including weddings, corporate parties, fundraisers, bridal and baby showers, and other special events.
Stacy is an expert mixologist who’s passionate about an industry that brings people together over great food and beverage.
After running the bars in Saint Augustine and having been in the industry for ten years, Stacy is elated to open her own restaurant, Sogno, in a town she loves.
